Childrens Home Senior Childcare Worker Location: Accrington Salary: £32,000 per annum Hours: Full-time, including sleep-ins and unsociable hours to meet the needs of the young people We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Childcare Worker to join our therapeutic childrens home. This role is pivotal in supporting the smooth running of shifts, assisting the management team, and leading a team of childcare workers to ensure the highest standards of care for children and young people. Allocate tasks to childcare workers and monitor their completion

Actively safeguard and promote the wellbeing of children in the home

Promote structure, boundaries, and routines

Support young people with their education and day-to-day activities

Lead and support the team to deliver consistent, high-quality care

Requirements: Minimum 1 year of experience in residential childcare

Qualified with a QCF Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent

Ability to work sleep-in shifts and unsociable hours to meet the individual needs of young people
