Role: Senior Health & Safety/ CDM Consultant Location: London/ South East projects across the region Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 + car allowance + attractive benefits package Sector: Property & Construction Consultancy WRG is excited to be working with an award winning independent property & construction consultancy who have a reputation of being a forward thinking and people centric organisation. The business offers a range of professional services to their diverse client base across the property & construction sector across the UK.They are recruiting for a Senior H&S/ CDM Consultant to join their team of industry experts out of their offices in London (hybrid working environment 2 days per week). The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of department and be expected to manage a portfolio of clients across the built environment and to deliver a H&S/ CDM service on these schemes. The business operates across multiple sectors and the H&S/ CDM department predominantly delivers on retail, leisure, and commercial schemes. The role would suit an ambitious H&S/ CDM professional from a consultancy or contractor background who feels that their progress is currently stalled (our client has an excellent reputation in the industry for career development and employee wellbeing), they will offer support and training for you to achieve success.Responsibilities:Deliver various H&S services to ensure compliance on construction projects.Ensure that pre-construction information is readily available for each project and is kept up to date.Preparation of health and safety files and construction phase plans where required. Carry out site inspections and ensure that RAMS are in place. Carry out risk assessments and site inspections for project portfolio. Further build and develop existing client relationships and develop new ones. Liaise with various stakeholders (architects, contractors, developers, designers, client) and keep them informed of changes regarding safety. Requirements: NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent. Membership to IOSH, APS, IIRSM or similar professional body (desirable). Excellent technical understanding of 2015 CDM Regulations. Knowledge around BSA and the changes affecting the industry (desirable). Excellent interpersonal communication skills. Apply:Starting salary in the region of £55,000 - £65,000 (DOE).
