Role Overview Morgan Hunt are seeking an experienced and professional Senior Category Manager on behalf of our Public Sector client on a full time and permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities Develop and implement strategic procurement plans that ensure value for money, meet organisational needs, and align with current market conditions and frameworks. Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, ensuring procurement activities support business goals, improve service delivery, and are regularly reviewed through effective stakeholder engagement. Lead and manage procurement processes professionally, ensuring compliance with legislation, optimising tender outcomes, and meeting cost-saving and efficiency targets. Apply advanced negotiation and contract management skills to secure the best commercial outcomes, deliver measurable community benefits, and advise on complex procurement matters.
