Shift Pattern: Monday- Friday 8am-4pm
Pay: £23.82ph per hour

What you’ll be responsible for:
The post holder is responsible for the management of delivery of estates maintenance works across the estate, this will include:
To complete building related works related to planned and reactive maintenance works including but not limited to:
Doors, skirting, architrave, windows & glazing, flooring , Ironmongery, fencing, external decking, kitchen units and worktops, fitted furniture.
To manage and complete planned and reactive maintenance work requests as per schedule.
Install new door sets from door blanks including all ironmongery.
To cover absences or demands/emergencies, you must be prepared to carry out other general maintenance duties.
To be responsible for ensuring you are on site at 8.00am for your first task and finishing at the site of your last scheduled task at 4.00pm.
Management responsibilities
* Prioritising work required sourcing appropriate resources to complete the works
* Provide training & guidance to PMO and band 5 workers, to support with apprenticeship
* Managing contractors and agency staff appointed to support the team
* To provide a technical lead for the PMO team, contractors and agency staff appointed to support the estates workforce
* Stores management and procuring materials
* Assisting other trades within the maintenance team.
* Accurately completing times on the Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) on completion of both reactive and planned preventative tasks.
* To drive Trust vehicles across all Trust sites and customer organisations buildings and locations in accordance with the Departments procedures.
* To work on own initiative in respect of fault diagnosis and out of hours working without supervision.
* Be part of the 24/7 on call rota
Essential Requirements:
HND in Building Surveying; or equivalent experience or City and Guilds Level 3 in Carpentry and relevant equivalent experience & followed an apprenticeship
Substantial and significant estates maintenance expertise.
•Substantial and significant practical and theoretical building structure and fabric knowledge
* Extemely detailed knowledge of HTM/HBN requirements in relation to estate management
* Has a good knowledge of IT systems, CAFM workforce systems
* Significant experience in the analysis of method statements and experience in the interpretation and implementation of safety rules and workplace risk assessments
* working PDA’s and experience in clearly recording data.
