Senior Buyer | £40,000 - £45,000 | Cambridge

You will serve as a subject matter expert in purchasing systems, methods, and processes, and will act as deputy to the Purchasing Team Leader when required. This role will involve substantial engagement in new product development, from initial concept and prototyping through to full-scale production and ongoing support. As part of the organisations growth strategy, there is an increasing emphasis on outsourced content within the development lifecycle. The Senior Buyer will be instrumental in supporting and delivering this approach.

The Role: Collaborate with the Purchasing Team Leader to shape and implement the overall purchasing strategy. Partner with key stakeholders to develop and execute supply chain strategies for new product development, ensuring alignment with delivery, quality, and cost objectives.
