A leading, award-winning architecture practice is looking for a Senior Business Development Manager for their London office.

This is a senior, high-impact role for a commercially astute business development professional who enjoys shaping strategy, building relationships, and driving growth across multiple sectors within the built environment.

The opportunity

Working closely with the leadership team, you’ll take ownership of the business development strategy, identifying new opportunities, building strong external partnerships, and supporting teams to win work. You’ll also collaborate with national sector, marketing, and bids teams to ensure a joined-up and proactive approach to work-winning.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading and delivering the regional business development strategy
• Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities across core sectors
• Building and maintaining a strong external network through meetings, events, and industry engagement
• Planning and delivering targeted BD campaigns and hosted events
• Supporting and coaching regional teams in business development activity
• Managing CRM activity, reporting, and regional BD meetings
• Working closely with marketing and bids teams to support work-winning
• Sharing market intelligence across regional and national teams
• Gathering client feedback to support long-term relationships and continuous improvement

About you:

• Proven senior business development experience within architecture or the wider built environment
• Commercially sharp, results-driven, and confident engaging at senior stakeholder level
• Strong relationship builder with excellent communication skills
• Strategic thinker who enjoys being hands-on and leading initiatives
• Comfortable working collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams
