We have a fantastic opportunity at Prism Digital for an experienced Business Development–focused Recruitment Consultant to join our growing team in London Bridge near Borough Market and work hand-in-hand with the Founder.
Prism is a boutique technology recruitment consultancy offering a service more akin to a search firm. We operate across Cloud, Platform, DevOps and wider IT, and we are deliberately doubling down on senior-level client acquisition and account growth.
This role exists to do one thing well: win and grow client relationships. You will focus entirely on:
- Winning new clients
- Building and managing senior hiring-manager relationships
- Penetrating accounts and expanding spend over time
- Acting as a trusted commercial partner to technology leaders
You will not be responsible for candidate sourcing or delivery. We have a strong, dedicated delivery team who will support everything you sell.
This is a strategic hire. The Founder is looking for a senior BD recruiter to act as a close commercial partner and help shape how Prism grows over the next few years.

About You:
- Proven IT / Technology recruitment experience
- Strong track record in new business development and account growth
- Comfortable opening doors, leading senior conversations and holding your own commercially
- Confident networker, on the phone and in person
- Commercially sharp, emotionally intelligent, and credible with CTOs, Heads of Engineering and Platform leaders
- Motivated by ownership, influence and uncapped earning potential
- Disdain for mediocrity. You like winning.
- Relaxed and a good sense of humour.
What This Role Can Become:
Depending on your ambition, this role could evolve into:
- A senior individual contributor / super-biller
- A player-manager leading a BD team or market vertical
- Ownership of new international markets
- A leadership role shaping Prism’s long-term growth strategy

The following is on offer:
- £40k – £50k base salary, depending on experience
- Uncapped and up to 25% non-accumulated commission.
- Base salary promotion targets are clearly defined, with promotions attached to sales targets
Commission Scheme:
- Industry-leading and highly lucrative uncapped commission scheme @ 25%
- If you bill £40k in a month, you get £10k commission (simple!)
- Our average placement fee is £13k
- No threshold/cost of desk deductions or accumulative scheme
