You will be working with one of our key clients in the public sector on a discovery project working alongside a User Researcher and other UCD consultants.

Responsibilities:

• Prioritise BA activities with the Project Manager to maximise value
• Lead workshops and interviews to gather business and user requirements
• Conduct current state analysis and define future state options
• Document findings, process maps, and improvement opportunities
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to define scope and success criteria
• Identify key constraints, dependencies, and assumptions
• Contribute to the Discovery business case to support project progression to the next phase

Candidate Requirements:

• Business Analysis experience in discovery or early project phases
• Proven track record in producing high-quality Business Requirements Documents, Business Process Mapping, and documentation skills
• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate business needs into structured outputs
• Experience with Agile delivery and working within an Agile team
• Experience in digital or application modernization projects
• Experience reviewing Functional Specification Documents to ensure alignment with Business Requirements
• Good project management skills with the ability to plan, schedule, and meet tight deadlines
• Excellent communication skills — able to explain complex processes and concepts to non-experts
