Exciting opportunity for a Senior Business Analyst to join this global Energy company for a 8 month initial contract.

Must Haves:

*Direct experience in the delivery of data aggregation and analytics platforms – Data Lakehouse and Data Warehouse builds, ideally using Azure Cloud and Databricks.

*Prior experience in oil and gas trading (Crude and/or Products), ETRMs and Commodity trading principles.

*London Office 3 days a week/ Hybrid

Products Data Exchange is a one-stop shop for Products to find and provision all data needs and to expand on current analytic and digital capabilities and more broadly enable data science and artificial intelligence capabilities on cloud technology.

The core requirements for this role with the Products Data Exchange (PDX) Team:

• Experience in mixed Waterfall / Agile project environments and able to work in a way that allows delivery across both approaches

• Confident building and maintianing documentation products inc. Requirements Backlogs, RAID logs, Data Requirement specifications, product support documents etc.

• Experience with Azure Devops (ADO) and capable of helping to develop and maintain backlog work items here

• Direct experience in the delivery of data aggregation and analytics platforms – Data Lakehouse and Data Warehouse builds, ideally using Azure Cloud and Databricks / ADF, but AWS / GCP , Snowflake, Synapse, Fabric and other relevant technologies all of interest

• Prior experience / domain knowledge in the oil and gas industry and with oil and gas trading (Crude and/or Products) , O&G industry supply chains, ETRMs, and Commodity trading principles

• Experience with BA tools like MS Visio, Figma, Azure Devops, and use of CoPilot in Teams all of value

• Hands on read / write skills in SQL, Python, Power BI or QlikSense would be of value in a candidate

•10+ years in IT with some leadership experience
