Senior Building Surveyor - Job Overview

• Manage a varied caseload across commercial and residential properties
• Carry out detailed defect diagnosis surveys and technical reporting
• Prepare costed schedules of work and oversee reinstatement and repair projects
• Deliver full contract administration, including managing variations, valuations, and payments
• Ensure compliance with CDM regulations and client SLA/KPI requirements

Senior Building Surveyor - Job Requirements

• MRICS qualified, with ideally 3-5 years' post-qualification experience
• Strong background in defect diagnosis, technical reporting, and JCT contract administration
• Candidates looking to sit their APC exam in 2026 will be considered for this role
• Excellent working knowledge of CDM regulations
• Experience in both commercial and residential sectors
• Insurance-related surveying experience desirable but not essential
• Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel across the M25
