Job Title: Senior Building Surveyor - Hybrid
Salary: Up to £55,000/Yr.
Type: Permanent | Full-time
Location: West Midlands

Role Summary:
Due to continued growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior / Chartered Building Surveyor to join a dynamic and experienced team. This role offers a strong mix of project and professional work, with the opportunity to work closely with key clients, contribute to business growth, and progress into more senior roles.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop detailed project briefs with clients and senior stakeholders
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Support business development activities
  • Prepare designs, specifications, and tender documentation
  • Administer JCT building contracts and ensure compliance
  • Undertake professional surveying duties including condition surveys, defect analysis, dilapidations, and party wall matters
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal/external stakeholders
  • Support project budgeting and financial control
  • Mentor and support junior team members

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • MRICS Chartered status (preferred) or working towards
  • Experience across commercial, retail, or educational properties
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Competent in AutoCAD and/or REVIT (training can be provided)
  • Familiarity with NBS Chorus
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
  • Strong communication skills and commercial awareness

Desirable Skills & Experience:

  • Experience managing or mentoring team members
  • Exposure to complex property portfolios
  • Knowledge of property or facilities management
