This role is suited to an experienced underwriter who is comfortable managing more complex transactions and taking greater ownership of deal structuring and credit decisioning.\n\nYou will play a key role in maintaining underwriting quality, supporting less experienced colleagues where needed, and ensuring cases progress efficiently from approval through to completion.\n\nKey responsibilities\n\n * Underwrite complex bridging and specialist property finance transactions\n\n * Structure deals in line with lending policy while maintaining commercial awareness\n\n * Prepare detailed credit papers for senior approval or credit committee\n\n * Review legal reports, valuations and technical documentation\n\n * Manage a live pipeline of cases and maintain turnaround times\n\n * Provide guidance and informal support to junior underwriters\n\n * Maintain strong relationships with brokers and professional partners\n\nWhat we are looking for\n\n * Strong experience in bridging finance or development finance underwriting\n\n * Ability to analyse complex credit scenarios and assess risk confidently\n\n * Comfortable working with legal, valuation and financial information\n\n * Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities\n\n * Professional communication style with internal and external stakeholders\n\nApplications are welcomed through Northreach for a confidential conversation
