Senior Bridge Engineer Location: Bonnyrigg Category: Engineering / Bridges Full Time / Permanent, 40 Hours per week, Monday Friday BEAR Scotland is a leading provider of highway maintenance services across Scotland. We manage and maintain over 2,00km of Scotlands trunk road network, tackling just about every imaginable task and working round the clock to help keep Scotland moving. BEAR Scotland on behalf of Transport Scotland manage over 750 structures as part of the South East trunk road network which includes a number of complex bridges. We have an exciting opportunity within the Southeast Bridges Team for a Senior Bridge Engineer to lead a team from our Bonnyrigg Office. The Senior Bridges Engineer will manage the identification, investigation, design, planning, procurement and construction management of planned bridge maintenance works on bridges, and other structures, of varying size and complexity. Responsibilities: Assist the Bridge Manager with the management and supervision of a design team, sub-consultants and sub-contractors.
