Senior Bid Manager / Work Winning Manager

Location: Boldon, North East | Permanent

I’m currently recruiting for a Senior Bid Manager to join an established engineering and services organisation based in Boldon. This is an excellent opportunity to lead and deliver bids within a business area generating around £25m turnover per year.

This role plays a key part in driving successful work winning activity, providing leadership to bid teams and ensuring submissions align with wider business strategy.

The Role

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading and motivating the bid team throughout the bid process
• Working closely with Business Development Managers to identify and convert new opportunities
• Developing relationships with key stakeholders and industry contacts
• Creating strong bid strategies that clearly differentiate the business from competitors
• Managing the preparation and submission of high quality bids
• Presenting cost values, risks and opportunities at final settlement
• Ensuring governance and approval processes are followed

What I’m Looking For

• Background in engineering, ideally having worked as a Project Manager or Engineer previously
• MEP Experience
• Proven experience in Bid Management / Work Winning
• Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to develop effective bid strategies and manage complex submissions
