Location: Hatfield - Flexible / Hybrid
Salary: £75,000 - £80,000
Are you an experienced bid professional ready to lead high-value, strategic submissions within the built environment? We are looking for a Senior Bid Manager to take ownership of complex bids in the social housing and property services sector, delivering best-in-class responses that win work and drive growth.
What Will You Deliver?
Lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of PQQs, ITTs, and final tender submissions across all procurement stages
Draft, review, and manage high-quality, tailored bid responses that clearly align with client requirements and scoring criteria
Build strong working relationships across internal teams and external stakeholders to gather vital input
Support and mentor Bid Writers, encouraging continuous improvement and collaborative teamwork
Conduct site visits and stakeholder interviews to inform bid strategy and enrich technical content
Continuously refine bid processes and share best practices across the wider bid team
Maintain and update a high-quality library of reusable content and assist with client presentations
Ensure all submissions meet company standards and are delivered on time, every time

Who Are You?
Minimum 5 years' experience managing complex social housing bids, ideally with a direct competitor
Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills
Strong time management and attention to detail
Comfortable working independently, with sound judgement to escalate as needed
Confident using bid portals and digital submission platforms
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint; InDesign experience desirable
Degree in a related field, APMP certification, or membership of CIOB (desirable)
Background in graphic design, repairs & maintenance (R&M), or new build bids is a plus
Proven ability to manage multiple high-value bids under pressure and tight deadlines
