Earnings : up to £36,000 inclusive of service charge (base of £29,000 + service charge) Location : London, EC2M 3YD, closest tube station is Liverpool Street Contract type : Permanent, full-time, 40 hours, shifts starting from 4am As a Senior Baker , youll be working in Eatalys on-site open Bakery, a vital part of the Eataly experience. Our customer-facing bakery is home to a traditional wood-fired oven, where our team produces a variety of breads and focaccias, as well as sweet baked goods, which are sold directly to customers and served in our restaurants and café. Shifts for this role will start at 4 am, and we cannot accommodate requests for a later start time due to our production. Please ensure you check your commute before applying for this role. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING Prepare bread, focaccia, rolls and other bread items for Eatalys restaurants and retail operations. Ensure all foods prepared meet quality standards in terms of portion size, flavour, texture, and consistency. Follow proper proofing and baking techniques for each variety of bread. Mixing, weighing and shaping the dough, working with fresh ingredients and producing everything from scratch. Requirements

At least 3 years of bakery experience in a professional environment in an high volume production bakery leading the production of various baked goods including but not limited to bread, sourdough, and viennoiserie. Strong baking skills working with fresh ingredients from mixing ingredients to shaping and baking the dough. Availability to work on site with a flexible rota covering mornings, evenings, and weekends. Shifts for this role will typically start between 4am and 5am. Experience with fast paced and high demand environment. Ability to use a wood fire oven and other professional kitchen equipment.
