Senior / Associate Quantity Surveyor

We are supporting a well-established, multidisciplinary consultancy with a strong national presence and a reputation for delivering complex, high-value projects across the public and private sectors. They are known for combining technical excellence with a collaborative, client-focused approach.

They are currently seeking leading QS talent - either a Senior Quantity Surveyor or Associate level - to join and help lead a flagship programme. This is a unique opportunity, both in terms of project scope and exposure, and as a chance to step up into a higher-profile, influential role.

The programme is a £120m+ Blue Light campus redevelopment of national importance, spanning twelve buildings and encompassing new build, complex refurbishment, and major modernisation works, all delivered within a coordinated campus-style masterplan.

The Role

As a Senior / Associate Quantity Surveyor, you will:

Take a lead delivery and client advisory role, managing commercial delivery and providing strategic input across multiple workstreams

Operate at programme level on one of the UK’s most high-profile public-sector projects

Administer NEC3/NEC4 or JCT contracts, including change control, compensation events, and governance reporting

Mentor and develop junior team members

Engage with stakeholders and clients across a complex, high-sensitivity programme

Oversee procurement, contract administration, and financial reporting to ensure delivery in line with programme objectives, timelines, and budgets

About You

Senior or Associate level QS experience within a consultancy or similar environment

Background in public sector or complex mixed-use developments, ideally Blue Light projects

Experience delivering large-scale projects (£50m+)

Strong knowledge of NEC3/NEC4 or JCT contract administration

Commercially astute with excellent technical QS expertise

MRICS qualified or working towards chartership

Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills
