Join a leading global shipping and marine insurance practice advising clients across the maritime, trade, and energy sectors.


Handling complex claims involving cargo loss or damage in transit (sea, air, rail, road) and provide legal support across logistics, ports, terminals, and marine trades.


You will be acting for governments, producers, trading companies, banks, cargo insurers, national oil companies and international traders on a whole host of complex issues acting in both a claimant and defendant entity.


As part of the role you will also be responsible for conducting training sessions and workshops for clients on a regular basis and providing supervision to junior members of the team.


If you are a Senior Associate Solicitor with either marine/shipping experience or a strong commercial litigation background and a keen interest in this specialist field this is a fantastic opportunity to join a vibrant and growing team with progression opportunities.

The Candidate


  • Qualified Solicitor with experience in marine, and/or shipping
  • Ability to work to deadlines, to prioritise and manage a varied caseload
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and on your own initiative
  • Strong legal and leadership skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Excellent organisation and time-management skills
  • Professional and effective communication with team members and clients
