Senior / Associate Civil Engineer
Birmingham
Our client are a UK-leading independent and employee-owned multi-disciplinary Built Environment practice who integrate residential and commercial architecture, engineering, planning and surveying for all development needs. They have over 60 years of experience working in the built environment which has led to strong expertise and knowledge gained by a strong team of over 70 employees.
They work on primarily residential projects around the UK, which range from small private developers to house builders and master planning schemes.
Key responsibilities for this role include management of a team of Civil Engineers, managing your own workload/deadlines and running your own projects, managing resources, undertake due diligence and feasibility reviews of potential sites, liaise with clients and provide guidance and training more junior members of staff.
You will also be involved in preparing the production of submission packs for planning, production of technical design submissions, production of groundworks packages for tender/construction, production of private engineering designs for on plot civils work and have a depth in understanding of the planning process and associated documents.
The successful candidate will have an understanding of fees, invoicing and project budgets and have proven track record of managing a team and be able to manage and deliver multiple projects.
You will have a relevant degree to Civil Engineering, have proficient knowledge of UK Drainage/Flood Risk and have working knowledge of AutoCAD, Causeway PDS and Flow.
