Senior Teaching Assistant - SEN All-Through School Basingstoke / 32.5 hours per week / 39 weeks per year (term time + INSET) Academics are working on behalf of a welcoming and well-established SEN all-through school in Basingstoke to recruit an experienced and confident Senior Teaching Assistant. This is a varied and rewarding role that will see you supporting teaching and learning across the school. Responsibilities include covering whole classes during short-term teacher absence, delivering small-group and intervention support, and working closely with teachers across planning, assessment and pupil progress. You will also take on a senior role within the support team, providing guidance, mentoring and day-to-day support to Teaching Assistant. Key responsibilities include: Supervising and covering classes when required
Supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs
Working collaboratively with teaching staff
Leading and mentoring Assistant Teachers
Promoting positive behaviour, inclusion and independence
