Role Overview

Cosmex Clinic, Cambridge is seeking an experienced, passionate and ambitious Senior Aesthetic Therapist specialising in energy-based treatments. Main Responsibilities

·        Deliver a wide range of advanced energy-based treatments, including laser therapies, radiofrequency, ultrasound, and light-based skin rejuvenation.

·        Conduct thorough consultations, assess client suitability, and devise personalised treatment plans tailored to individual skin types and concerns.

·        Operate and maintain specialist equipment in accordance with clinic protocols and safety standards.

·        Provide detailed pre- and post-treatment advice, ensuring clients are informed, comfortable, and supported throughout their journey.

·        Maintain accurate and confidential client records, documenting all procedures and outcomes.

·        Stay abreast of the latest developments in aesthetic technology and attend ongoing training as required by the clinic.

·        Support and mentor junior therapists, sharing expertise and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.

·        Uphold the clinic’s reputation for outstanding customer service and clinical excellence.

Essential Skills and Experience

·        Level 4 (or higher) qualification in Beauty Therapy or Aesthetics. Would consider an experienced and therapist with level 3 plus core of knowledge.

·        Significant hands-on experience with energy-based devices (e.g., lasers, IPL, radiofrequency, HIFU).

·        Excellent knowledge of skin anatomy, conditions, and contraindications for advanced treatments.

·        Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build rapport and trust with clients.

·        Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and safety.

·        Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Desirable Attributes

·        Previous experience working in a high-end clinic or similar environment.

·        Training or certification in multiple energy-based systems.

·        Passion for aesthetics and a genuine desire to help clients achieve their goals.

·        Strong interest in promoting skincare.

·        Proactive approach to professional development and staying updated with industry trends.
