The company:\n\nThis is a leading developer of state-of-the-art care homes and retirement living throughout the UK with offices based near Leeds.\n\nDue to significant growth this business is building an in-house design team to design and develop architectural and technical solutions for their care developments instead of using an external Architectural Practice.\n\nThe role:\n\nAs Senior Architectural Technologist you will be involved in developments from the very beginning working with the Land team to produce feasibility layouts, through planning and building regs and managing the design through all construction phases to completion.\n\nWorking closely with the Head of Architecture and wider team you will also manage more junior architectural staff.\n\nRequirements:\n\n * Degree in Architectural Technology or HND\n\n * Minimum of 10 years PQE\n\n * Excellent technical and problem solving skills.\n\n * Experience of working on projects from inception through to completion.\n\n * An understanding / practical knowledge of Revit / BIM including modelling and BIM strategy.\n\n * You should have excellent construction knowledge with the ability to produce construction and detailed working drawings and packages quickly and efficiently.\n\n * Experience of working on accommodation based projects up to value of £10M would be beneficial.\n\nThis is a real career opportunity as the internal design team starts to take shape and joining in a senior AT role at a time of extensive growth.\n\nThis is a permanent role with truly excellent career potential as the business grows.
