Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Architect to support the delivery of large-scale commercial developments. This role is ideal for a highly capable designer who can take ownership of complex projects and operate with minimal supervision.\n\nThe Role\n\nYou will lead and manage the design and technical delivery of major commercial schemes from concept through to completion. Projects span a range of sectors including Healthcare, Residential, Retail, and Industrial & Logistics, offering varied and technically challenging work.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nLead the design and development of large-scale commercial projects.\n\t\nAct as Job Runner, managing schemes across all RIBA stages.\n\t\nCoordinate consultants and multidisciplinary teams.\n\t\nProduce and review detailed technical information using Revit.\n\t\nEnsure compliance with current building regulations and legislation.\n\t\nUndertake CDM Principal Designer and Building Safety Act Principal Designer duties where required.\n\t\nLiaise directly with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.\n\nRequirements\n\nMaster’s degree in Architecture from a UK-accredited institution.\n\t\nARB / RIBA Chartered Architect or MCIAT Chartered Architectural Technologist.\n\t\nMinimum 8 years’ commercial experience delivering complex, large-scale projects.\n\t\nStrong track record of job running and managing projects independently\n\t\nAdvanced proficiency in Revit.\n\t\nExperience acting as CDM Principal Designer and Building Safety Act Principal Designer.\n\t\nAbility to work autonomously and meet project deadlines.\n\nContract Details\n\nContract or freelance engagement\n\t\nCompetitive day or hourly rate, dependent on experience\n\t\nImmediate or short-notice start \n\t\nFlexible working arrangements may be available, subject to project needs\n\nApply now or contact (url removed) | (phone number removed)
