They're now hiring a Senior AI Platform Engineer to help build the systems that take AI from prototype to production.This is not a role focused on AI experimentation or one-off GenAI demos.It's a chance to build the core platform, tooling, and infrastructure that enables teams to deploy LLM-powered products, agentic workflows, and retrieval systems in a way that's scalable, secure, and production-ready.You'll be responsible for:Building the core AI platform for LLM-powered products and internal AI toolingCreating the APIs, services, and developer tooling that make AI easy to adopt across teamsDesigning and operating agent-based and multi-model workflowsBuilding and scaling RAG pipelines, retrieval services, and vector search infrastructureImproving the reliability, latency, observability, and cost-efficiency of AI workloadsPutting the right security, governance, and operational controls in placeAutomating deployment and platform operations using Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CDWorking closely with product, security, and engineering teams to shape how AI is delivered across the businessWhat they're looking forThey're looking for a strong engineer with a platform mindset and experience building systems that are designed to run reliably at scale.Strong software / platform engineering experience using PythonExperience building and operating distributed systems in cloud-native environmentsHands-on experience with Kubernetes, containers, and infrastructure toolingExperience with LLM applications, AI/ML platforms, or production AI systemsFamiliarity with agent frameworks, orchestration patterns, or multi-model workflowsExperience with RAG, embeddings, vector databases, or retrieval systemsStrong CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code skillsAn understanding of what it takes to run AI in production - including monitoring, evaluation, security, and governanceWhy joinA lot of AI roles are still stuck at the proof-of-concept stage.This one isn't.You'd be joining a business making a serious investment in production AI capability, with the opportunity to build the platform layer behind real AI products and shape how AI is deployed across the organisationJBRP1_UKTJ
