We at Siamo Recruitment are thrilled to be working with a local council in the heart of Swindon. This is an excellent opportunity on a 12-week contract to support the Council in meeting its statutory obligations under the UK GDPR, Data Protection Act 2018, and Freedom of Information Act 2000. The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for document review and redaction relating to a backlog of Subject Access Requests (SARs). The role will also involve processing Freedom of Information (FOI) requests and providing general administrative support across the Information Governance (IG) function. This opportunity would suit an experienced, detail-oriented individual who is able to learn new processes and systems quickly, work efficiently and support the team in maintaining compliance with information governance requirements.
