I am hiring for a Senior Capital Actuary to join the Capital & Investment team, reporting to the Head of Capital Modelling. This is a high-impact role supporting the capital assessment and internal model development across syndicates. The Role -
Support and enhance the internal capital model, including development, parameterisation, and validation Deliver regulatory capital reporting (e.g. LCR, Standard Formula, LSM) Contribute to capital planning, business strategy, and reinsurance decisions Engage with stakeholders across underwriting, finance, risk, and regulators Support IMAP submissions and model governance processes Help embed capital modelling into business decision-making
The Candidate -
Qualified actuary (FIA or equivalent, or near qualified) Strong capital modelling experience, ideally within the Lloyd’s market Technically strong with a proactive, problem-solving mindset Excellent communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders Commercially aware and adaptable in a dynamic environment
