Bedfordshire | Hybrid Working (2 days office / 3 days home or site)

Zest4Talent is proud to be partnering with a well-established, medium-sized acoustics consultancy with over 25 years industry experience. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of projects, they are now seeking Senior and Principal Acoustic Consultants to join their highly experienced team.

As a Senior or Principal Acoustic Consultant, you will deliver high-quality acoustics consultancy services across a diverse range of projects within the built environment. Projects typically include planning acoustics, building acoustics, and mechanical plant noise assessments.

In addition to hands-on technical work, you will play a key role in mentoring and developing junior consultants, contributing to technical standards, and supporting the wider growth of the business.

The role operates on a hybrid working model, with two days per week in the Bedfordshire office and flexibility for site and home working.

This role would suit a confident, commercially aware acoustics professional with proven experience in construction acoustics and client-facing consultancy work.

You will ideally have:

• A strong academic background in Acoustics or a related discipline (e.g. Physics, Audio Technology)
• Membership of the Institute of Acoustics (IOA)
• Strong technical experience across planning acoustics, building acoustics, and environmental / mechanical noise
• Experience managing projects from inception through to completion
• The credibility to represent the business at client, design team, and project meetings
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
• An interest in mentoring, leadership, and business development (particularly at Principal level)
