We are seeking a qualified (new or recently qualified) Senior Accountant to join a professional services firm in Leeds. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing financial operations, ensuring accuracy, and supporting strategic decision-making.

Description

Prepare and manage financial statements and reports
Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors as required.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost efficiencies.
Support the Accounting & Finance department with ad-hoc tasks.Profile

A successful Senior Accountant should have:

A recognised accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, ACA, or CIMA).
Strong technical accounting knowledge and analytical skills.
Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
