Senior Account Manager - Public Sector (Data & AI)

Location: London/Hybrid - 4 Days Office & 1 Home

Salary: £60-80k + Commission

Overview:

We are looking for a Senior Account Manager with a strong Public Sector background to drive growth across our clients Data & AI offering. This role will focus on developing strategic relationships, expanding existing accounts, and winning new business through established frameworks and large-scale public sector contracts. This is a key hire for the business, offering the opportunity to take ownership of a core sector and play a pivotal role in shaping our go-to-market strategy within Public Sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Drive revenue growth across Public Sector accounts, focusing on Data & AI solutions
Manage and expand existing client relationships while identifying new business opportunities
Leverage frameworks and large public sector contracts to win and deliver new work
Build and maintain a strong pipeline through network, referrals, and proactive business development
Develop sector-specific strategies aligned to client needs and market trends
Engage senior stakeholders across government and public bodies
Collaborate with internal delivery and leadership teams to ensure successful client outcomes
Represent the business within the Public Sector ecosystem, building brand presence and credibility

Experience Required:

Proven experience in an Account Manager or Sector Lead role within Public Sector
Strong track record of selling Data & AI or technology solutions
Experience working within a professional services or consulting environment
Demonstrated success selling via frameworks e.g. G-Cloud, DOS, CCS or similar
Established network within Public Sector organisations
Strong commercial acumen and ability to manage complex sales cycles
Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills

Base salary of £60,000 - £80,000
