Job Description

Our client was established in the early 2000’s and are proud to be as strong as ever. Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced Senior Account Manager to come in and help grow the womenswear team even further.


This company owns its own factories with accounts including River Island, Next, Zara and some supermarkets


Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the main liaison for allocated customers, including high street retailers, online partners, and independent accounts
  • Develop trusted partnerships with buyers and merchandisers to encourage repeat and long-term business
  • Manage the full product lifecycle, from initial concept and costing through to production and delivery
  • Communicate customer briefs clearly to Design and Product Development teams, ensuring alignment with seasonal direction
  • Coordinate sample submissions, including lab dips, strike-offs, and bulk approvals, and track customer feedback
  • Lead and attend buyer meetings, presenting ranges with confidence and commercial insight
  • Maintain and manage all relevant data and administration within the PLM system
  • Present collections that balance trend relevance with cost, margin, and customer expectations
  • Monitor critical paths closely, working with factories, logistics, QA, and technical teams to ensure deadlines are achieved
  • Review sales performance and market trends to highlight opportunities for growth or range development
  • Support the onboarding of new customers and represent the business at meetings, trade shows, and client visits
  • Collaborate with merchandising and production teams to protect margins and meet financial targets


Skills & Experience

  • At least 4–5 years’ experience within a fashion supplier or wholesale environment in an account management role
  • Strong working knowledge of garment development, costing, production timelines, and retail calendars
  • Confident communicator with the ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships
  • Commercially minded, with a clear understanding of how trends translate into successful product ranges
  • Highly organised, detail-focused, and comfortable managing multiple accounts simultaneously
