Role Overview

As a Senior Account Manager, you will take ownership of a key customer portfolio, identifying opportunities for growth while ensuring exceptional levels of service. Youll be the primary point of contact for your accounts, building long-term relationships, aligning internal teams, and ensuring flawless execution of projects from quotation through to delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the main point of contact for your assigned customer base.
• Build strong, long-term relationships that support sustained business growth.
• Ensure customer requirements and technical expectations are communicated clearly across internal teams.
• Conduct regular meetingson-site and virtualto review performance, address ongoing projects and identify new opportunities.
• Identify and nurture new sales opportunities within existing accounts.
• Collaborate with the external sales team to attract new customers.
• Support strategy development for account expansion and increased revenue.
• Lead pricing discussions, contract renewals, and proposal creation.
• Work closely with engineering, procurement, and production teams to ensure seamless delivery of customer projects.
• Track order progress, monitor timelines, and resolve any issues promptly.
• Assist customers with technical enquiries, involving internal specialists when needed.
• Stay informed about market developments, competitor activity, and evolving customer needs.
• Represent the business at trade shows, industry events, and networking opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records of customer communication, project updates, and sales activity in the CRM system.
• Provide management with regular reports, forecasts, and insights on account performance.

Key Skills & Experience

• Technical understanding of electronics, PCBA, or manufacturing processes.
• Proven experience in account management and customer growth.
• Excellent relationship-building skills across both technical and commercial stakeholders.
• Strong negotiation and contract management abilities.
• Results-driven mindset with a focus on customer satisfaction and revenue.
• Willingness to travel throughout the South of England to meet customers (as and when required).
