Senior New Business Development Manager
Hybrid | 3 days in office / 2 days from home
Base locations available: Edinburgh Park, Gateshead, or Maidenhead
This is a senior, quota-carrying new business role focused on proactively identifying, engaging, and winning new clients through outbound outreach, networking, and digital channels. You’ll build relationships at senior level within UK service providers, technology organisations, and enterprise customers - opening doors, uncovering opportunities, and positioning solutions that address their business challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify, research, qualify, and close new business opportunities.
- Develop multiple senior stakeholder relationships within target prospects.
- Build a strong understanding of target markets, recognising both challenges and opportunities.
- Clearly articulate the company value proposition and how it delivers measurable business value.
- Create and execute a structured Sales Territory Assurance Plan, including:
- Target account strategy
- Engagement approach
- Influencer mapping and engagement
- Utilise MEDDPICC to qualify opportunities and prioritise effort effectively.
- Work closely with Marketing teams to drive Account-Based Marketing (ABM) initiatives.
- Propose and execute targeted territory initiatives to accelerate pipeline creation.
- Partner with internal teams to develop compelling, differentiated client proposals.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and operate within defined opportunity governance frameworks.
- Achieve annual new business order value targets.
What We’re Looking For
- A proven “hunter” sales professional with a consistent track record of opening doors, building pipeline, and closing new business.
- Demonstrable success in enterprise and social selling, engaging senior decision-makers, and leading complex solution sales cycles.
- Experience selling colocation, cloud, or broader technology solutions is highly desirable.
- Strong influencing, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.
