ITIC – Senior Account Executive
Working Arrangements: Monday to Friday, 0900 - 1700
Location: London, minimum 4 days in the office

We are looking for a driven, energetic individual to take this role and make it their own, within a successful environment.
Overall Objective of Role:
Senior Account Executives at ITIC are responsible for marketing, underwriting and claims handling for a portfolio of assureds within specific geographic areas. It is a unique role within the industry with a high degree of autonomy.
Main Responsibilities:
The core aspects of this varied role focus on marketing, underwriting and claims handling:
- Underwriting: Manage existing assureds, provide new business and renewal quotes.
- Customer Knowledge: Gain a deep understanding of ITIC’s customer base.
- Relationship Building: Develop and maintain relationships with assureds, insurance brokers, industry contacts and legal advisors.
- Representation: Represent ITIC at industry events worldwide, confidently network with peers.
- Marketing: Help create marketing, loss prevention and guidance materials. Give presentations and take part in webinars.
- Claims Handling: Deliver efficient, cost-effective claims handling services.
- Sales Development: Identify and develop new sales leads through various channels.
Person Specification:
- 5 years or more working in a marine and transport claims role.
- An interest in and curiosity for the marine and transport industry.
- A willingness to adapt to the needs of the team and get involved in wide range of opportunities.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills.
- Analytical & Organisational Skills: Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to develop good working relationships across all levels of seniority.
- Negotiation: Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Teamwork & Independence: Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- A strong personal drive to succeed.
- Public Speaking & Networking: Good skills in these areas, with confidence when representing the company at events.
- Travel: Willingness to travel within the UK and internationally to visit assureds and attend conferences and events. This may involve travel out of usual working hours.
