Senior Account Executive – In this role you will accelerate Material Bank’s growth by expanding our brand partner ecosystem. You will focus on acquiring new brand partners and building long‑term relationships with emerging and established brands, prioritising those that align with our platform and design professionals’ needs. You bring industry credibility, established relationships, and a consultative mindset to communicate how Material Bank delivers value throughout the material selection journey through brand visibility, seamless sampling, and data‑driven insights. This is a senior, external‑facing role for someone who knows the A&D landscape, understands how brands sell into the design community, and values that lasting partnerships are built in person. You thrive in face‑to‑face conversations, on‑site meetings, and industry events, doing whatever it takes to earn trust, build credibility, and move opportunities forward. The position is UK‑based (London preferred, but open to other major UK cities) and requires extensive travel across Europe (approximately 50‑70% of the time). What you’ll do

Own new brand partner acquisition, building a strong pipeline and managing the sales process from initial conversation through contract execution. Lead consultative sales conversations that align brand goals with Material Bank’s capabilities, tailoring pitches to each partner’s business objectives. Develop deep, trusted relationships with brands, executives, and decision‑makers across the A&D ecosystem. Maintain ongoing engagement with new and existing partners, working closely with internal teams to ensure a strong onboarding experience and long‑term success. Contribute feedback and insights from the field to help shape sales strategy, messaging, and future platform enhancements, ensuring a high‑quality brand partner experience. Partner closely with internal teams to understand member needs, category gaps, and strategic priorities, and use that input to continuously refine targeting strategy and pipeline. Stay informed on industry trends, competitive dynamics, and market shifts to bring insight and perspective into partner conversations. Contribute to scaling the European sales organisation through operational insight, process improvement, and regional market feedback.

What you’ll bring

5+ years of experience in the Architect & Design industry, ideally within a material manufacturer, design‑focused organisation, trade association, or adjacent sales role. An established network and strong reputation within the European A&D and brand manufacturing community. Strong executive presence with the ability to communicate confidently and effectively with senior leaders. Proven success in relationship‑driven, consultative selling and new business development with mid‑market and enterprise‑level organisations. Experience owning a full sales cycle, from prospecting through close, with a consistent track record of meeting or exceeding quota. Excellent negotiation, influencing, and relationship‑building skills. Highly organised, self‑motivated, and comfortable operating independently in a fast‑paced environment. Willingness to travel at least 50% of the time. A genuine passion for the A&D community and a customer‑first mindset.
