Our client, a leader in the technology sector, is currently seeking a Senior SAP UI5/ABAP Developer to join their team on a permanent basis. This role provides an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge SAP technologies in a dynamic and agile environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and enhance SAP applications using SAP ABAP OO and traditional SAP ABAP Implement change management processes including transports and source code control with abapGit Utilise ABAP OOP for user exits and enhancements Perform dialog programming and report writing with ALV and ABAP lists Implement complex integrations via OData services and REST APIs Contribute to SAP UI5 development including controls, data binding, ODataModel, and JSONModel Develop unit tests using ABAP Unit ensuring high-quality software delivery Participate actively in Agile practices and ceremonies Lead code reviews, uphold Clean Core principles, and provide guidance to colleagues Apply excellent problem-solving and debugging skills to resolve issues
Job Requirements:
Significant experience in SAP ABAP OO and traditional SAP ABAP development Proficiency with Agile methodologies In-depth knowledge of SQL and ABAP Strong experience in SAP UI5 development Proven experience in implementing integrations via OData services and REST APIs Familiarity with development of unit tests using ABAP Unit Strong team collaboration skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
Desirable Skills:
Experience in JavaScript/TypeScript development Knowledge of SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform)
