New Chapter Tuition is recruiting dedicated and experienced SEN / SEND Tutors to provide 1:1 personalised tuition for children and young people aged 5–25 across Camden and surrounding areas.
This role is ideal for qualified teachers, tutors, HLTAs, teaching assistants, learning mentors, and education professionals with experience supporting learners with Autism (ASC), SEMH, ADHD, and complex needs.
You will deliver engaging, nurture-led tuition in homes, libraries, community hubs, and alternative provisions.

Key Responsibilities
• Deliver tailored 1:1 tuition programmes
• Support learners with SEN / SEND including Autism, SEMH, and ADHD
• Adapt lessons to EHCP outcomes and individual needs
• Build positive relationships that support confidence and engagement
• Deliver trauma-informed, flexible learning approaches
• Monitor progress and complete session reports
• Work collaboratively with families, schools, and professionals
Candidate Requirements
• Previous SEN / SEND experience essential
• Understanding of the UK National Curriculum
• Experience as a teacher, tutor, TA, HLTA, or mentor preferred
• Strong behaviour management and communication skills
• Patient, resilient, and adaptable approach
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
• Right to work in the UK

Tuition delivered in community-based settings
