SEND Teaching Assistant – TwickenhamAbout the role:

Engage Education is currently recruiting a dedicated and enthusiastic SEND Teaching Assistant for a welcoming specialist secondary school in Twickenham. The school supports KS3 and KS4 students with moderate learning difficulties and Autism.

This role will involve working flexibly across different classes, supporting students on personalised learning pathways who are working below age-related expectations. The school benefits from outstanding, purpose-built facilities, including specialist classrooms for Design & Technology, Food Technology, and Music.

The successful candidate will be passionate about making a meaningful difference, proactive in their approach, and committed to helping students reach their full potential. This is a rewarding opportunity starting in January, suitable for experienced SEND Teaching Assistants seeking a new challenge.

You will ideally have experience supporting children or young people with SEND, particularly moderate learning difficulties and Autism, and be confident working in a secondary school setting. By taking initiative and building strong relationships, you will support students’ learning, independence, and wellbeing across the school.
