Teaching Assistant (Full-Time) - Hounslow, West London Are you a skilled Teaching Assistant seeking a part-time opportunity within a supportive and welcoming primary school? Role Overview Position: Teaching AssistantStart Date: Immediate (subject to vetting checks)Location: Hounslow, West LondonPay: £100 per day (PAYE)Hours: 08:30am - 4:00pmContract: Full-time, 5 days a week Mon to Fri, until July 2026 Key Responsibilities As a Teaching Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting teaching and learning across the school. Your responsibilities will include: Supporting pupils across a range of year groups, from Reception to Year 6 Delivering focused interventions to support pupil progress and attainment Providing tailored support for children with SEND Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery, preparation, and classroom organisation Encouraging positive behaviour and supporting pupils' social and emotional development Helping to maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment Adapting to different classroom needs and working flexibly across the school Supporting additional activities such as Breakfast Club and After School Clubs, where required The Ideal Candidate Will: Have prior experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary setting Be confident supporting pupils with additional needs, including SEND Have experience delivering small group or one-to-one interventions Be proactive, flexible, and able to use their initiative Have strong communication skills and a positive, professional attitude Be committed to helping children achieve their full potential About the School This welcoming primary school in Hounslow has a strong community focus and values positive relationships between staff, pupils, and families.
