SEND Teaching Assistant - Retford

Are you passionate about supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)?

Academics Ltd is recruiting a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils in mainstream primary schools across Retford, Nottinghamshire.

This is a temporary, part-time, term-time only role with an immediate start.

Key responsibilities:

* Support teachers in delivering Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
* Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEND
* Adapt learning materials to suit individual needs
* Support students' social and emotional development
* Monitor and record student progress

What we're looking for:

* Experience working with SEND pupils
* Relevant NVQ or Cache Level 2 or 3 TA/SEND qualification (preferred)
* A patient, adaptable, and supportive approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Ability to commute across Retford
* Have or be willing to process an Enhanced DBS Certificate
