About the School: Our SEND school caters to children aged 6-16, offering them a nurturing and inclusive learning environment. You will join the dedicated group of teachers and support staff and will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to making a difference in the lives of these students. Every child has an Education, Health, and Care Plan (EHCP), ensuring personalized support. Working Hours: 8.30-15.30 and 8.30 -16.00 on Wednesdays Competitive pay: £96-£104 per day Your Role: As a teaching assistant, you'll work closely with a teacher and another teaching assistant in a very small size class with children who might be of different age but similar educational and development level. Your role is instrumental in providing individualized support, managing spontaneous, compulsive, and challenging behaviour, and facilitating learning activities. Placement Details: This is a 12-week placement through our agency, with the opportunity for a full-time position with the school afterward.
