SEND Teaching Assistant - EYFS & KS1 (1:1 Support)

Aspire People are currently recruiting for a compassionate and experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Central Manchester. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity supporting pupils in EYFS and KS1 on a 1:1 and small group basis.
The school has a strong focus on early intervention and inclusive practice. You will be supporting children with additional needs including Autism (ASC), speech and language difficulties, and social communication needs.
The Role:
Providing 1:1 support for pupils with SEND.
Supporting early phonics, early numeracy and communication development.
Implementing sensory strategies and structured routines.
Assisting with emotional regulation and positive behaviour support.
Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver tailored interventions.
Recording progress and contributing to EHCP reviews where required.
We Are Looking For:
Recent experience supporting SEND pupils in a UK primary school.
Knowledge of EYFS and KS1 development.
A calm, patient and nurturing approach.
Confidence supporting pupils with ASD and communication needs.
Strong safeguarding awareness.
