SEND Teaching Assistant - The Role

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will provide tailored support to pupils with a range of special educational needs and disabilities. You will play a key role in helping pupils access learning, develop independence, and build confidence.

Your responsibilities will include: * Providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEND * Supporting children with a range of needs, including ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and SEMH * Assisting in the implementation of EHCP targets and personalised learning plans * Promoting positive behaviour and emotional regulation strategies * Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to monitor progress * Creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
