SEND Teacher

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEND Teacher to join a supportive and inclusive school setting. This is an exciting opportunity to work with students with a range of additional needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH and Moderate Learning Difficulties.
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality, differentiated lessons that meet the individual needs of learners, ensuring all students can access the curriculum and make meaningful progress both academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual EHCP targets Support students with a range of SEND needs including ASC, SEMH and learning difficulties Create a safe, structured and nurturing learning environment Work closely with Teaching Assistants and SENCOs to support student development Monitor, assess and track student progress effectively Implement behaviour management strategies in line with school policy Build strong relationships with students, staff and parents
The Ideal Candidate
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Experience working with SEND students (school, PRU or specialist setting) Strong understanding of EHCPs and differentiated teaching strategies Excellent behaviour management and communication skills Patient, resilient and committed to inclusive education A genuine passion for supporting students with additional needs
