About the School This specialist provision is a small, nurturing, therapeutic school community that supports pupils aged 7–17 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. It provides a calm, purposeful learning environment, prioritising positive relationships, trauma-informed practice, and individualised learning pathways. The setting offers a broad, tailored curriculum, including GCSEs, Functional Skills, ASDAN, and a strong focus on life skills and independence for young people who may have experienced disrupted education. With small class sizes and a high staff-to-pupil ratio, teachers have the time and space to deliver highly personalised learning and make a powerful impact. The Role We are seeking a skilled SEND Teacher with a Science specialism to deliver: Functional Skills Science GCSE Science Tailored curriculum adaptations for pupils with SEND and SEMH Engaging, accessible learning for students with complex needs You will work closely within a multi-disciplinary, therapeutic-led team that prioritises safety, emotional wellbeing, and meaningful academic progress.
