SEND Teacher required to teach a small Key Stage 4 class with ASC, MLD, and other additional learning needs. This welcoming SEND school is looking to appoint a committed Key Stage 4 Teacher to join their team on a permanent basis.
As a Key Stage 4 Teacher, you will work with small classes of students with a range of special educational needs, delivering a personalised curriculum that supports both academic progress and life skills development. You will create a structured, supportive and engaging classroom environment where students can build confidence, develop independence and work towards meaningful outcomes.
The school offers a collaborative and nurturing environment with strong leadership and experienced support staff, allowing you to focus on delivering high-quality teaching tailored to individual needs. This role would suit a patient, adaptable and enthusiastic teacher with strong subject knowledge and a genuine interest in supporting students with SEND. Previous SEND experience is desirable but not essential. QTS is required.
Job Role:
Teaching small Key Stage 4 classes of students with SEND
Planning and delivering differentiated and personalised lessons
Supporting students’ academic progress and life skills development
Creating a structured and inclusive learning environment
Working closely with Teaching Assistants and support staff
Supporting communication, independence and confidence
Assessing, monitoring and recording student progress
Contributing to EHCP targets and personalised learning plansIn Return You Will:
