SEND Learning Support Assistant

We are looking for a caring, committed, and proactive SEND Teaching Assistant to join our specialist setting and make a real difference every day.

About the Role

In this role, you will support pupils with a range of complex needs. Working closely with teachers and specialist staff, you will provide one-to-one and small-group support, helping pupils access learning, build independence, and develop social and emotional skills in a structured, nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide tailored support to pupils with SEND, particularly those with Autism and ADHD.

* Support learning activities and adapt resources to meet individual needs.

* Encourage communication, emotional regulation, and independence.

* Implement personalised learning and behaviour support plans.

* Build positive relationships with pupils and work collaboratively with staff.

About You

We are seeking someone who is:

* Patient, empathetic, and passionate about inclusive education

* Calm, adaptable, and able to use initiative

* A strong communicator who can build trusting relationships

* Reliable, enthusiastic, and willing to learn

Previous experience in a specialist or SEND setting is not required. Full training and ongoing support will be provided for applicants with the right attitude and commitment.
