Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant Location: Hereford Start Date: Immediate Start Salary: £95 - £110 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a specialist SEND provision in Hereford, supporting children and young people with a range of additional needs. The setting promotes a nurturing and inclusive environment, with a strong focus on emotional wellbeing and supporting pupils with anxiety.
The school is looking to take on a SEND Teaching Assistant on a temporary basis starting immediately. The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will be supporting students with mixed needs, primarily anxiety, working closely with class teachers to provide tailored support and ensure a calm and engaging learning environment.
The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will have:
• Experience working with children or young people with SEND, particularly anxiety • A relevant qualification or strong background in education or care • Experience supporting students on a 1:1 or small group basis • A patient and empathetic approach • Strong communication and behaviour management skills • A proactive and adaptable attitude
