Are you an experienced SENCo keen for the next challenge within a supportive and inspiring school environment?


An Academy in Gloucester, catering to year groups 7-11, are looking for a passionate SENCo to join their leadership team in overseeing SEND for the school.


Job description:


  • Leading and overseeing the school's SEND policy
  • Supporting staff with policy implementation and adaptive teaching
  • Building relationships with parents and carers
  • Chairing annual reviews and preparing paperwork
  • Daily rate: £160 - £200 per day
  • Option for 3 days per week, preferably 5 days
  • Mid-April Start to end of academic year (4 month initial contract)
  • Possibility of temp to perm


Person specification:


  • Experience working with SEND with knowledge of specialist areas
  • High levels of organisation
  • QTS and NASENCo (Desirable)
  • Resilient and empathetic persona
