Scroll down for a complete overview of what this job will require Are you the right candidate for this opportunity London Based Paid on day rate Inside IR35 3 days per week on site Panoramic Associates is currently working with a Primary School based in London to facilitate the appointment of an experienced Interim SENCO to support the school's SEND provision on a part-time basis. This role will focus on ensuring high-quality support for pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), working closely with staff, parents, and external professionals to maintain effective provision across the school. Responsibilities of the Role:
Lead and manage SEND provision across the school in line with statutory requirements and best practice. Work closely with teaching staff to support the identification and assessment of pupils with SEND. Develop and review EHCPs and SEN Support Plans, ensuring appropriate interventions are implemented. Liaise with parents, carers, and external agencies to coordinate effective support for pupils. Support and advise staff on inclusive teaching strategies and SEND best practice. Ensure accurate record keeping and compliance with SEND legislation and school policies. Support SEND provision within Early Years and across the wider primary setting. To be successful in the role you will have: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential. SENCo qualification desirable (or working towards it). Strong SEND knowledge and experience. Ideally primary experience, unless candidates can clearly demonstrate understanding across primary age groups. Enhanced DBS with adult and children's barred list.
