Prospero Teaching is seeking a supportive, positive, and encouraging Tutor to work with a young person transitioning into Year 8, who has an EHCP and a diagnosis of ASD and Anxiety. This student finds the traditional classroom environment overwhelming and has experienced significant gaps in their education. The successful Tutor will deliver engaging and well-paced Maths and English sessions and provide transport to and from sessions at a local library in Portsmouth.

About the Student:

Enjoys card games, especially Uno, and has a strong interest in Maths and numbers. Has a fantastic imagination but finds writing challenging. May appear shy at first, but once comfortable, is chatty with a great sense of humour

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Experience working with children with ASD and Anxiety. A nurturing and patient approach to learning. A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle. Ability to create a safe, structured, and fun learning environment.As a n SEN Tutor you will:
